This is one of the biggest differences from Android. On iPhone and iPad, My Pocket Dice is both a dice roller and a mini dice-game hub.
Classic combination-based dice play where you aim for high scoring rolls across multiple categories.
A push-your-luck dice game where each roll can build your score or wipe the round if you miss.
A lighter game mode built around progression and quick rolling rounds.
Roll for your ship, captain and crew, then score cargo once the key combination is completed.
The iOS version of My Pocket Dice includes several classic dice games. These quick guides explain how each game works so players can understand the rules and enjoy the experience directly inside the app.
Yatzy is one of the best known dice games. Players roll five dice and try to score combinations such as pairs, three of a kind, full house, small straight and large straight. Each round players may reroll dice in order to improve their combination before choosing a scoring category. The highest scoring result is a Yatzy, where all five dice show the same number.
Farkle is a push‑your‑luck dice game played with six dice. Players roll and attempt to form scoring combinations such as single ones, single fives or three‑of‑a‑kind sets. After each scoring roll the player decides whether to bank their points or roll again. If a roll produces no scoring combination it is called a Farkle and the round score is lost.
Climb the Ladder is a lighter dice game designed for quick rounds. Players roll dice to move upward through levels, progressing step by step toward the top. The simple rules make it easy to start playing instantly while still creating competitive moments between players.
Ship, Captain, Crew is played with five dice. Players must first roll a ship (6), then a captain (5), and finally a crew (4). Once those three dice are secured the remaining dice count as cargo and determine the score. The challenge comes from completing the ship‑captain‑crew sequence within the allowed rolls.
